Secure and Comfortable G10 Handle: The knife’s handle is crafted from G10, a durable and lightweight material that provides excellent grip and ensures a secure hold even in wet or challenging conditions. As an avid shooter and range enthusiast, I recently got my hands on the Cain Arms Magazine Extension to enhance the capacity of my trusty firearm magazines. The extension promised to add extra rounds, improving efficiency and reducing reload time during shooting sessions. While the product has its merits, there are a few points worth noting, including a concerning issue related to exposure to heat. In this review, I’ll delve into my experiences with the Cain Arms Magazine Extension and provide a comprehensive analysis of its performance.

Easy Installation and Secure Fit: One of the first things that impressed me about the Cain Arms Magazine Extension was its easy installation process. The website had clear instructions, making it a breeze to attach the extension securely to my magazines. Once in place, the extensions fit snugly and didn’t wobble, ensuring a consistent shooting experience
Extra Rounds, but Loading Can Be Tricky: With the Cain Arms Magazine Extension, I was able to increase my magazine’s capacity, providing me with additional rounds. However, I did notice that loading these extra rounds into the magazine required some modifications to the Magpul GL9 magazine. At first, I encountered issues with misalignments and jamming, but after filling away some material, I managed to make it work consistently.
Heat Sensitivity Issue: One significant concern I encountered during my usage of the Cain Arms Magazine Extension was its sensitivity to heat. During a particularly hot day at the range, I left my loaded magazines sitting outside in my range bag. Unfortunately, the extreme heat caused the bottom of the mag to bulge slightly, potentially compromising its overall integrity. While it didn’t render the magazine entirely unusable, it was a concerning observation.
Durability: Holding Up to falling on concrete: On a more positive note, I repeatedly dropped the magazines onto a concrete surface during a training session, and to my surprise, the Cain Arms Magazine Extension held up remarkably well. The extension suffered only minor scratches, and the magazine remained functional without any noticeable damage. This reinforced my confidence in its overall durability.
In conclusion, the Cain Arms Magazine Extension is a mixed bag of performance. On one hand, it provides a straightforward installation process and adds extra rounds to your magazines. It also proves resilient in the face of some wear and tear, such as falling on concrete. However, the sensitivity to heat is a significant drawback, as it may potentially compromise the magazine’s structural integrity over time. Additionally, the tricky loading process may require shooters to invest some time and effort to find a technique that works best for them.
Ultimately, if you’re willing to work through the alignment challenges and take precautions to protect the extensions from extreme heat, the Cain Arms Magazine Extension can be a valuable addition to your shooting gear.
Last week I crossed off goal 3 bringing the total so far to date to 71 lb total loss. This last week and a half I have been on vacation so it was even sweeter to get back and weigh in and see I did not gain anything. Along with hitting my goal I also add 130 more minutes of gym workout time last month. Progress is being made.
As I come into the weekend I have 2 lb to go on this mini goal. Even though this is a Mini goal it will be a big step. The last time I did a push to lose the weight I got stalled at about the same spot this was in 2021. A lot happened that year. But more will happen this year. It seem like their more reason to keep pushing. In the Gym there a flage says “Remember why you started. Why i started my back hurt and I was not getting any were with doctors, also Henry.
This week has been a hard-fought loss only 1lb down. Part of my diet has been a cheat day this last weekend may have gone a little overboard and was 1.5 lb up on Tuesday’s weigh-in. But I am down a solid lb over last Friday so I’m happy. I hit the gym 3 times this week so far that up from last week and continue to build muscle and strength. I like to say thanks to Ed at Brandon Valley Fitness for providing a gym to help me meet my goals.
Today is a good day still fighting off a cold but I’m down 60 lb this morning. Stuff getting easier. The drive to keep going is getting stronger as each pound comes off. As reflect back on the years past 2022 my watch only recorded one work out and in 2021 I recorded 34 for a total time of 596 minutes. This year I just complete workout 33 and logged over 1100 minutes.
I thought my back being hurt would push my resolve but I was wrong. I have had a cold and have been hacking for a week this is by far suck more than the back. I have stayed strong and kept on plan.
In the past, I have attempted to lose weight, and often fails with me getting sick or hurt. This last weekend I hurt my back and could bearly walk around, it hurt to stand or sit. I’m happy to report that I kept with the program and did not backslide any. This for me was a huge milestone I”m going into the weekend with a total weight loss of 55 pounds and over halfway to my 3rd goal.
